Adapt Running provides personalised online running coaching.

When you enquire about coaching, I may collect:

information you choose to provide about your running, goals and circumstances; and
any other information you provide when contacting Adapt Running.
If you become a coaching client, I may also collect information necessary to provide your coaching, including:
date of birth;
training history and current training;
race performances and goals;
training and activity data;
relevant information about injuries, health or circumstances that may affect your training; and
messages and feedback relating to your coaching.
How I use your information
I use your personal information to:
respond to coaching enquiries;
arrange and discuss potential coaching;
create and manage personalised training;
review your training and provide feedback;
communicate with you about your coaching;
adapt your training where necessary; and
meet legal, administrative and financial obligations associated with running Adapt Running.
I only use your personal information where I have a lawful basis for doing so. This may include taking steps at your request before entering into a coaching agreement, providing the coaching service you have requested, complying with a legal obligation, or another appropriate lawful basis under UK data protection law.

Services I use
Adapt Running uses third-party services to operate the website and provide coaching.
Squarespace
The Adapt Running website is hosted using Squarespace. Information submitted through forms on the website may therefore be processed by Squarespace as part of providing its website and form services.
Final Surge
If you become a coaching client, Final Surge may be used to plan, deliver and review your training. Information held within Final Surge may include your training schedule, completed activities, training data, feedback and other information relevant to your coaching.
WhatsApp
WhatsApp may be used for direct communication between you and Adapt Running. Messages you send through WhatsApp are processed using WhatsApp’s services and are also subject to WhatsApp’s own privacy practices.
These services have their own privacy policies explaining how they process and protect personal information.
Where these providers process personal information outside the UK, appropriate safeguards will apply as required by UK data protection law.
I do not sell your personal information to third parties.
How long I keep your information
I only keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and to meet any relevant legal, accounting or administrative requirements.
If you enquire about coaching but do not become a client, I will not keep your information indefinitely.
Information relating to coaching clients may be retained for a reasonable period after coaching ends where necessary for record keeping, legal or administrative purposes.
